ABOUT US
Allow us to tell you more about Shine Forth Apostolic Ministries'
Vision, Mission and Principles
Our Vision
As a ministry, our main vision is to see all of God’s children arise, shine and live the abundant life that God has ordained for them to live. We want to see God’s Kingdom come and God’s will be done in us, through us and in the Body of Christ as a whole. We are dedicated to the Lord’s reformation of the church, making disciples, building up the next generation, training leaders, reaching and positively affecting the nations for God’s Glory.

Our Mission
To Know God
Our main spiritual objective is to develop a close and passionate relationship with God in all we are and do, and be changed into Christ’s likeness.

To Reach Others
Through the great and eternal love of Jesus, we are dedicated to reach with the gospel those in the community who are separated from God and without hope, those who are hurt or rejected, and to share the love of Jesus with them. We have also been commissioned by Jesus to make disciples.

Our Principles
The Father, Son and Holy Spirit
Our Father in Heaven is the Creator and Father of all humankind. Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to live on earth, died for our sins, was resurrected back to life, and is now seated on the right hand of the Father and we await His return. The Holy Spirit was given to us by Jesus to help us live for Jesus and equip us to do the works of the Father on earth.
1 John 5:7
The Word
All Scripture (Old and New Testaments) is given by the inspiration of God and is profitable for us today. The Holy Spirit helps us to read, understand and apply the word of God to our lives today.
2 Timothy 3:16
The Fivefold Ministry
The fivefold ministry which consists of; apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers was put in place by Jesus Christ to equip believers to participate in the coming return of Christ.

Grace and Truth
By the grace of our Lord Jesus, we’re able to live a life pleasing to God and we’re to speak the truth to each other in love.
Ephesians 4:7, 15
Giving
Giving and sacrifice are keys to worship. We give as God gave. God gave His best, His only son (John 3:16). Therefore, because of our gratitude for that gift, we are motivated and excited about giving our best. God gave us life, so with all that we have we want to honour Him first.
Deuteronomy 15:10
Fasting
Fasting will help us grow a more intimate relationship with Christ and will open our eyes to what He wants to teach us
Luke 5:35
Worship
We were created to worship God, and live in worshipful devotion to God, and we expect and anticipate God to touch us in His own special way.
Psalm 95:6
God’s power
To live in God’s power, freely expressing gifts of the Spirit in loving submission to the Holy Spirit, fulfilling God’s work in His way.

Prayer
To encourage and develop a life of prayer in order to grow in the knowledge and purpose of God. Prayer is the way in which we communicate with God, and He wants us to get to know Him better every day.
Ephesians 6:18
Discipleship
We must become set apart people who grow effectively in the life and ways of Christ, who acknowledge Him as Lord, not just Saviour, and teach others to live in the same manner.
Matthew 28:16-20

Blessing
Accept, affirm and encourage each other through positive declarations, prophecy and the laying on of hands, especially in the context of worship and prayer.

To place character development before that of gifting, having teachable hearts, and serving God and others without pride.
Philippians 2:3-11
Prophecy
God still speaks today, and we are encouraged to seek all spiritual gifts but especially seek the gift of prophecy and then prophesy as the Holy Spirit leads. God promises that if we will pay attention to His prophets, we will succeed!
1 Corinthians 14:1

Marriage
God created and designed marriage, therefore God alone can define and has already defined what marriage is. Marriage is the union of a man and a woman, creating a new entity, a new “whole” (one flesh). This commitment is to last as long as they both shall live.
